José Martín Cuevas Cobos (nacido el 28 de septiembre de 1969), conocido por su nombre artístico Pedro Fernández, es un cantante, compositor, actor y presentador de televisión mexicano. Fernández comenzó su carrera internacional como Pedrito Fernández a la edad de siete años.
Fernández ha grabado treinta y nueve álbumes, ha actuado en siete telenovelas y veinticinco películas. Ha ganado 4 premios Grammy Latinos[1] Su nombre artístico está compuesto por los nombres de dos de sus cantantes favoritos, (Pedro) Infante y Vicente (Fernández).
En 2012, Fernández protagonizó la telenovela Cachito de cielo. Fernández escribió el tema «Cachito de Cielo» para la telenovela y, como compositor e intérprete del tema, ganó el Premio Grammy Latino a la Mejor Canción Regional Mexicana en 2013.

Pedro Fernández nació el 28 de septiembre en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México en 1969. Su nombre de nacimiento era José Martín Cuevas Cobos. Debutó en el cine en 1979 cuando el productor Rubén Galindo le dio su primera oportunidad en la producción «La nina de la mochila azul» donde comenzó su carrera. Cambió su nombre a Pedro Fernández, por sus ídolos musicales Pedro Infante y Vicente Fernández. También es cantante con más de 25 LPs en 20 años de carrera musical.
