If Alicia Villarreal, lead singer of the group Límite, married Ezequiel Orlando Cuevas, it was because they needed to buy a house in Monterrey, but her father never allowed her to go to live in the United States.
“Alicia signed a paper in which she was committing herself in marriage and back then it was mostly because Alicia’s dad demanded that they live in Monterrey and wanted them to buy a house here, that he wasn’t going to take her,” Castrellón said.
“She realized she didn’t want him and that’s why the marriage is annulled, because they never had a relationship as a couple. She signed a paper, but the union never happened, the marriage was never consummated, more than anything else that’s what happened.”
